Sunday, June 19, 2011, we made our first public appearance at the Annual Ramble hosted by Homeless Animals Lifeline Organization (HALO).  We presented the public with brochures containing information about our goals and took sign-ups for our email newsletter! We even recruited two volunteers!  We were very happy with the warm reception everyone gave to our cause!  Thank you to Karen, Rose, Barb and Sheila for "manning" the booth and to Stephanie and Gigi of HALO for being such wonderful hosts!  Karma, Izzy and Sadie also did their part in showing off how happy rescue dogs are to have a family!  It was a great day!

September 2011 D.A.S.H. Starts Foster Program

Although our goal is to open a facility, we couldn't hold off any longer and decided to start pulling dogs from the Antioch Shelter and fostering them for adoption!  We are not losing sight of our goal but our mission is to expedite animals out of the Antioch Shelter so we decided to do what we could while we work towards the larger goal!

FOSTERS NEEDED!!!

If you are able to foster a dog for us, please email us at info@deltaanimals.org or call Rick Stirrat, our Dog Adoption Manager at 925-335-3169!  The general length of time per foster is 2-3 weeks and can involve post spay/neuter care but we provide everything you need, food, supplies etc.  If you can't foster, would you please donate to ouf foster program?  Thank you all for your help!
